My Belated Birthday Post

Yesterday was my birthday. I am now 48 years-old. In honor of this, I did this drawing of Giraffe Man wearing a party hat.

Giraffe Boy

Giraffe Boy (a.k.a. Monte Parker) is the imaginary son of Giraffe Man (a.k.a. Clovis Parker). Giraffe Man was created by John Oak Dalton. Giraffe Boy was played by Thomas Nelson III on an episode of The Adventures of Giraffe Man. The Adventures of Giraffe Man is a regular series on Tom Cherry’s Old Time Radio Show. Tom Cherry’s Old Time Radio Show is performed at the Farmland Community Center (100 North Main Street, Farmland, IN) every fourth Saturday of the month at 3:00 pm.

All Hail Hellwig!

Yes, that felonious fashionista with the demonic hairpiece is back to claim Morton City as her own! Only Giraffe Man stands in her way!

Heroes 3

Three of my favorite superheroes: John Oak Dalton's Giraffe Man, Dale Martin's The Human Spring, and Keith O'Brien's Captain Cactus!

Yesterday's Comic Haul (2/8/14)

Larfleeze #7   The Fox #4   20 Polypropylene Comic Book Bags   Purchased at Bob's Comic Castle. Total cost: $7.67   Notes- For the record, there was another haul before this one, but laziness prevented me from posting. Please forgive me, "Comic Haul" fans!...Not much to note this time around. Good reads, but nothing memorable...My current comic book pet peeve? Paper that captures fingerprints. Touch a comic book the wrong way and you can leave smudges. Maybe I should just wear gloves when reading.   Giraffe Man was created by John Oak Dalton.

Did This Yesterday

It was the first show of 2013 for the cast of Tom Cherry's Old Time Radio Show (l-r, Darrin Murrell, Bob Green, Me, Wendy Carpenter, Sean Orlosky, Giraffe Man, Linda Gilchrist with Jerry and Judy Cole in the back) and it was a lot of fun! Looking forward to April's show!   Photograph by Lindsey Cox

Superhero Team Up!

Dale Martin's The Human Spring, Keith O'Brien's Captain Cactus, and John Oak Dalton's Giraffe Man! I just brought them together for the first time.

Call to Battle

In an ideal world where I was able to make as many comic books as I wanted, Call to Battle would be one of my continuing series. Mainly inspired by The Brave and the Bold (Especially the Bob Haney stories), Call to Battle would feature superhero team-ups with John Oak Dalton's Giraffe Man (One of my favorite superheroes!) serving in the Batman position. Here's a cover to an issue that doesn't exist. In this particular issue, GM meets Dale Martin's The Human Spring for the very first time!
