Dale Martin's The Human Spring, Keith O'Brien's Captain Cactus, and John Oak Dalton's Giraffe Man! I just brought them together for the first time.

Not the color scheme I would choose for the good Captain. I picture his harness either brown leather, or the blue/black you usually see on Batman's boots/gauntlets/shorts.

I was originally going to use a dark green for the harness, but I settled on the old familiar green/red relationship. Next time I use Captain Cactus I'll use brown instead.

It's not like I've published him in color or made any specific comments about his color scheme, or even finalized it in my head. Just never thought of his outfit as red.
