Note- Found some interesting things in the dollar bins. Bob had a decent amount of Groo back issues lurking around in the bins this past month and I was hoping to grab some more this week, but somebody snagged them all. Makes me wish I grabbed more when I had the chance. Oh, well! That's life in the bins!...This haul's winner was Popeye (An all Roger Langridge issue!) with Walking Dead coming up second. SpongeBob had the best cover.

It's a Black Friday Miracle!

I just wrote the following:

Big Rig: You got that right, hoss! I’m a truck driver and proud of it! I’ve been behind the wheel of an eighteen wheeler for nearly twenty-five years! Crisscrossing this great land of ours and you know what’s the best part of my job?

Cloyd: Erotic mud flaps?

Now that's a gift you can't buy in a store. Happy Black Friday, dear consumers!

Draw Kid Eternity Day

Kid Eternity and Joan of Arc

Today we honor Kid Eternity, a supernatural superhero who often brought the dead (and fictional) back to life to aid his fight for good! Originally a character for Quality Comics (created by Otto Binder and Sheldon Moldoff), he's currently appearing in one form or another in DC Comics every now and then. Although he has been modernized for today's audiences, I prefer his original incarnation. Joan of Arc apparently feels likewise! Kid Eternity forever!

Special thanks to super cartoonist Dale Martin for celebrating the day with Kid!

More thanks to Keith O'Brien for this young Kid Eternity drawing!
