This Saturday at the Farmland Community Center...

Get ready for some laughs as Tom Cherry’s Old Time Radio Show presents an episode of the classic working man comedy, The Life of Riley, this Saturday (April 28, 2018) at the Farmland Community Center! Plus the debut of a new chapter of the action packed cowboy serial, The Happy Hoppy Hopper Show!

Featuring the talents of Wendy Carpenter, Sean Orlosky, Gabe Carpenter, Bob Green, Katy Wolfe, Jeff Shull, Jeff Rapkin, Larry Beck and soundman and soundwoman, Jerry and Judy Cole!

A lucky audience member will get a chance to play It Pays to Be Ignorant and Jerry and Judy Cole will step away from the Foley table to present a musical number!

Blast from the Past: Vanna Whitebread (September 29, 1991)

Vanna Whitebread was my oh-so-obvious take on famous letter-turner, Vanna White. However, unlike her game show inspiration, Vanna Whitebread was a movie actress. Not the brightest starlet in the Hollywood firmament, Miss Whitebread was commonly seen off and on in my comics at the time. Here she's featured in a comic with her agent/manager Dodie.

I’m a huge fan of cartoonist Billy McKay. One night on a whim back in 2004 (Or was it 2005?) I attempted to create a comic that emulated his style and sensibility. Then I let it sit unfinished for over a decade or so in a box containing a pile of notes and sketches. Last night (April 7, 2018 for the historic record) I finally completed it! Thanks for the inspiration, Billy!
