I Can't Believe It's Another Chiller Thriller Theatre!

Chiller Thriller Theatre returns to the Farmland Community Center this October! Just in time for Halloween, TV horror host Basil Q. Mylk-Bone will present three strange tales of the unknown in Chiller Thriller Theatre 3! Expect the unexpected in this frightful romp fit for the entire family!

Chiller Thriller Theatre 3 features the work of local playwrights Tom Cherry, Clifford Lowe and Thomas Nelson III and stars Tom Cherry, Missy Donahue, Hannah Grace Harris, Clifford Lowe, Justin Panico, Jeff Rapkin, Jeff Shull, Katy Wolfe and Sean Orlosky as “Basil Q. Mylk-Bone”.

Historic Farmland USA is proud to present Chiller Thriller Theatre 3 at the Farmland Community Center (100 N. Main St, Farmland, Indiana) on October 20, 21, 27 and 28. The performances include dinner and dessert. The dinner portion of the evening begins at 6:30 pm with the show following at 7:00 pm. Tickets for the dinner and the show are $20.00 (Seniors: $18.00). Tickets for just the show are $10.00.

Chiller Thriller Theatre returns to the Farmland Community Center this October! Just in time for Halloween, TV horror host Basil Q. Mylk-Bone will present three spine-tingling tales of terror in Chiller Thriller Theatre 2: Electric Bugaboo! Funny bones will be tickled and traumatized by an evening full of ghosts, ghouls and ghastly creatures of the night!

Chiller Thriller Theatre 2: Electric Bugaboo features the work of local playwrights Clifford Lowe and Tom Cherry and stars Hannah Bailey, Wendy Carpenter, Bob Green, Thomas Nelson III, Jeff Rapkin, Jeff Shull, Joe Skeen, Rita Wessel, Katy Wolfe and Sean Orlosky as Basil Q. Mylk-Bone.

This Halloween Weekend

  This weekend is your last chance to see Chiller Thriller Theatre with Basil Q. Mylk-Bone! It stars the finest cast around and features some horrific tales with a comic edge! Richard Scarry's Busytown

  It's been busy around these parts! Finally finished the script for Swann Song Christmas (Opening December 5), Chiller Thriller Theatre with Basil Q. Mylk-Bone debuted this past Friday and ran during the weekend, and we celebrated Halloween on Tom Cherry's Old Time Radio Show this past Saturday (In the picture up above, that's the delightful Angela Gick as the Bride of Frankenstein and a certain fat cartoonist as Jambi the Genie with Mr. Jerry Cole in the background)! Good Guys and Bad News

  GOOD NEWS: The wonderful Cindy Lowe recently finished work on one of the stars of my play, Two Guys and a Pearl! Meet Little Guy and his stunt double, Mort! Little Guy will be making his stage debut as part of Chiller Thriller Theatre with Basil Q. Mylk-Bone on October 24 at the Farmland Center!   BAD NEWS: My laptop finally called it quits so my presence on the Interwebs may be a limited for a bit. Thankfully my Aunt Lee Ann is letting me use her computer to write scripts and surf the world wide web for awhile as I decide on my next computer purchase. Thanks, Aunt Lee Ann!   GOOD NEWS: Ending on a happy note, the radio gang loaded up the radio Winnebago and took Tom Cherry's Old Time Radio Show on the road to Heather Hills Baptist Church in Indianapolis yesterday. We all had fun performing for the church's chili cook off and we met a lot of great people! Plus we had some tasty chili as well! Thanks to Missy Donahue, Katy Wolfe, Jeff Shull, Jeff Rapkin, and Jerry and Judy Cole for helping create another fantastic show!

The October People

  Last Saturday I helped Cliff Lowe, Tony Morris, Cindy Lowe, and Sean Orlosky tape some scenes for our Halloween show, Chiller Thriller Theatre with Basil Q. Mylk-Bone. The premise of the show is that it is actually a horror movie marathon hosted by Mr. Mylk-Bone (Played by Mr. Orlosky). Our two plays, Cliff's Vampire in the Attic and my Two Guys and a Pearl, serve as the horror movies. Since Sean will be on vacation during the show's run, Basil's bits were recorded to appear on an actual TV that will be played on and off throughout the two acts.

It was a lot of fun taping the host segments and it brought back fond memories of those good, old days when I used to work on my public access sitcom years ago. Plus I got to be the voice of Murgatroyd, Basil's spider co-host! How can you not have a good time with great friends and a spider puppet?

Coming This Halloween!

  Sean Orlosky is Basil Q. Mylk-Bone, the host of Chiller Thriller Theatre, a new Halloween show debuting this October at the Farmland Center featuring two original plays by local playwright Clifford Lowe and myself. Three Day Weekend

Things I did over Labor Day weekend:

1. I did some housesitting for some friends who were out of town. Besides watching over the house, I took care of one cat, three dogs, six chickens, and assorted fish.

2. I did some work on my play, Two Guys and a Pearl. It will debut as part of the Halloween show, Chiller Thriller Theatre with Basil Q. Mylk-Bone, at the Farmland Center in October. I'm getting closer to the finish line with Two Guys and I'm very happy about that.

3. I broke my friends' futon.

4. I was attacked by a rooster.

5. After my friends came home (They were very understanding about the futon), we ate some pizza and watched some movies. One of the movies was Voyage to the Planet of Prehistoric Women which featured a robot named John, a few leaping lizard men, and narration by director Peter Bogdanovich. Lots of laughs!

6. I slept most of Labor Day away. Thankfully no nightmares about roosters.

7. Found out there's no word for "smile" in Latin.

8. I made a birthday card for my niece Madi who turned fourteen on Labor Day.

Who knows what new adventures will await me as I return to work on Tuesday!
