Nothing Weak About This Weekend

It was a great weekend! One Funky Halloween opened Friday in front of an enthusiastic audience and the fun continued Saturday night! The radio show had a full house Saturday afternoon as the radio gang presented some ghastly Halloween goodness! Thanks to all our family, friends, and neighbors who came out to support us all!
 If you missed your chance to see One Funky Halloween, our final performance will be this Friday at 7:00 pm (6:30 pm for the dinner) at the Farmland Community Center (Call 765-468-7631 for reservations)! Be there or be square!

Halloween in Farmland

There's a lot of excitement in Farmland this weekend! On Friday, One Funky Halloween has its world premiere at the Farmland Community Center! If you can't make it to the debut, you'll get another chance on Saturday evening! Both shows start at 7:00 pm (If you would like a tasty bite before the show, dinner will be served at 6:30 pm). Also on Saturday, it's more fun with Tom Cherry's Old Time Radio Show at 3:00 pm! We'll be celebrating Halloween a week early with our usual radio madness and our second annual prizewinning costume contest! No tricks, folks! All treats! Hope to see you there!

One Funky Halloween

It’s Halloween in Waffleville and Arlo Wazzo has opened his home to some truly disturbed individuals. Fortunately for him, they are his friends! However, when some clean Halloween fun conjures up some guests from the afterlife, pumpkin bowling is forgotten and a frightful farce ensues! It’s a night full of tricks and treats as psychics, werewolf dispatchers, historical figures, and a fanboy fry cook unite for One Funky Halloween!

 Based on characters from the local comic strip/public access sitcom Those Funky Idiots by Tom Cherry, One Funky Halloween brings Arlo Wazzo and the other citizens of Waffleville to the stage for an original comedy written and directed by Sean Orlosky. The talented cast includes Gabe Carpenter, Sean Heline, Sean Orlosky, Bob Green, Rita Wessel, Wendy Carpenter, Jeff Shull, Jeff Rapkin, and Tom Cherry.

Historical Farmland USA is proud to present One Funky Halloween at the Farmland Community Center (100 N. Main St, Farmland, Indiana) on October 23^rd, 24^th, and 30^th. These performances include dinner and dessert. The dinner portion of the evening begins at 6:30 pm with the show following at 7:00 pm. Tickets for the dinner and the show are $20.00 (Seniors: $18.00). Tickets for the show are $10.00.

A Change in the Weather

After being on second shift for 15 years, I'm happy to announce I got new hours at Touchy Feely Fotos. I work 10:00 am- 6:30 pm so I now have my evenings free. With that being the case, I'm hoping to do more theater work in the near future. In September, I'll be in Think, Dog's production of The Guys with Ms. Katy Wolfe. In October, I'll be playing Arlo Wazzo on stage in Sean Orlosky's Those Funky Idiots: One Funky Halloween at the Farmland Community Center. Plus I have a cowboy musical that will debut sometime in August. A lot of good stuff to look forward to! Wahoo!.

Following in the footsteps of Annie and You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, another beloved comic strip (Okay, it's beloved by me at least!) finds a new home on the stage! I'm pleased to announce this Halloween Those Funky Idiots will be performing at the Farmland Community Center! Those Funky Idiots: One Funky Halloween will debut October 23, 2015 and will run October 24, October 30, and October 31! Written and directed by Mr. Sean Orlosky! Save your pennies and mark your calendars now!
