Total amount: $27.43   Notes- After last week's haul, this one felt like a letdown for some reason. Basically good comics, but nothing really made me excited. Oh, well! It happens!...This haul's winner? Larfleeze. Yeah, that surprised me, too!...This haul was purchased with a twenty-five dollar gift certificate from my brother, Todd. Thanks for the birthday gift, Todd!   Mr. Burns was created by Matt Groening (With help from some other folks, I'm sure, but I'm going with what I got).

  Legion of Super-Heroes #21   Sergio Aragones Funnies #8   SpongeBob Annual-Size Super-Giant Swimtacular #1   10 Polypropylene Comic Book Bags   Purchased at Bob's Comic Castle. Total amount: $13.03   Notes- A small, but great comic haul ths time around with the long awaited return of Sergio and the debut of the Swimtacular!...Nice to see some Ramona Fradon's artwork on Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy... The highlight of Sergio Aragones Funnies was Sergio's story about a trip to Mexico with Mad Magazine's Usual Gang of Idiots. I always enjoy his autobiographical work and this story was no exception. Plus I love the way he draws Bill Gaines!...This haul's winner? I declare a tie between Sergio and Swimtacular!   Mermaid Man was created by Stephen Hillenburg.

Brendon and Brice

  Last week I made a drawing of Baby Savage so to be fair to his older brothers, Brendon and Brice show up this time around. I botched Brice's hair a bit and Brendon's arm looks slightly long, but I like drawing the Savage Bros. for some reason. Too bad I rarely use them for anything.

  Adventure Time #15   SpongeBob Comics #21   The Walking Dead #111   12 Polypropylene Comic Book Bags   Purchased at Bob's Comic Castle. Total amount: $11.57   Note- Not much to talk about this time. All were fairly good reads. Although not as good as its last issue, SpongeBob Comics still offers a lot of comic goodness for $2.99... I did take Adventure Time off my pull list. I still enjoy the comic, but I rather spend the $3.99 on Astro City. Yes, it's never fun living on a budget!...This haul's winner is The Walking Dead.   Princess Bubblegum and Finn the Human were created by Pendleton Ward.

Yesterday's Comic Haul (6/8/13)

  Astro City #1   Green Team: Teen Trillionaires #1   The Unwritten #49   Purchased at Bob's Comic Castle. Total cost: $10.67   Note: For honesty's sake, there has been a couple comic hauls between this one and the last one, but laziness prevented me from documenting them. My apologies!...Not a bad haul actually. Unwritten's current storyline has regained my interest and it's always great to have Astro City back. I wasn't a big fan of Kurt Busiek's Dark Age storyline, but I'm happy that the series has returned. As for Green Team, it was an enjoyable read from Baltazar and Franco. I have to admit I only bought it because I own a copy of 1st Issue Special that featured the original version of the team and who would ever think that concept would return as a series? Of course now, I eagerly await the comeback of the Dingbats of Danger Street!...This haul's winner is Astro City!   American Chibi was created by Kurt Busiek, Brent Anderson, and Alex Ross.
