Okay, I don't know who took this picture during the broadcast of The Gift of the Magi, but I like it.

The Last Day of December

Radio Love
This December has been a busy and productive month! Swann Song Christmas opened on December 5 with a successful run at the Farmland Community Center (Despite some bouts of sickness and the cancelling of one performance, the show still made some good money for my friends in Farmland), Indiana Public Radio’s radio production of The Gift of the Magi was a delightful show with a wonderful cast and crew, and Tom Cherry’s Old Time Radio Show ended its third year with a bang with a cast of thousands, an outstanding audience, and a free leftover buffet (One audience member was heard proclaiming “It was better than Christmas”)! It was a fun month filled with great work and talented people! I just hope this December is a harbinger for the things to come in 2015! Happy New Year!

The Gift of the Magi

The Gift of the Magi

It's been a very busy December with a lot of fun projects! Ideally I should have posted this before Christmas, but it didn't happen. Here's a link to Indiana Public Radio's The Gift of the Magi:

Two Weeks from Today!

The Gift of the Magi

Two weeks from today Indiana Public Radio's The Gift of the Magi will be broadcast at 8:00pm from the Sursa Performance Hall. It's directed by the talented Jennifer Blackmer from a script by local playwright Kirsten Fentz based on O. Henry's classic tale. I'm fortunate to be in a wonderful cast full of amazing actors. I play the pawn man.

Thursday

Thursday was a good day. I took the day off from Touchy Feely Fotos to hang out in Farmland with some wonderful people (You know, Sean Orlosky, Wendy Carpenter, Sean Heline, Bob Green, Missy Donahue, and Judy and Jerry Cole). We also performed a special episode of Tom Cherry’s Old Time Radio Show for a bus tour experiencing the wonders of Farmland. They were a fine audience, too! It was a fun show and we earned some good money for the Farmland Community Center. Later that same day, I auditioned for Indiana Public Radio’s Christmas production of The Gift of the Magi and yesterday I found out I’ll be part of the cast so Friday was a good day, too.
