It Came From My Mailbox!: Teebo Time

Postmaster Keith O'Brien kindly sent me the third issue of his jam comic, Teebo the Clown and His Poodles of Doom! Now my feelings about Teebo still stand, but Keith and a cornucopia of great cartoonists put together a mighty fine comic book! And look! There's Captain Cactus on the cover! Thanks, Postmaster!

One of the good things about having a mailbox is that sometimes you find a new minicomic by Matt Feazell in it.

It Came From My Mailbox!: Happiness

This past week my mailbox kept giving me envelopes filled with some amazing work! Last Friday (September 27, of course) I was happy to find the latest digest from the amazing Pam Bliss, Apples and Oranges! Collecting some stories featuring her "Those Kids!" characters, reading A&O was like touching base with some old friends.     The fun continued the next day when I received an unexpected bundle of new issues of The Amazing Cynicalman from the king of the small press, Matt Feazell! Four issues containing some comic gold!     And finally yesterday the latest issue of Watusi the Talking Dog arrived. Receiving a comic book created by Dale Martin is always a wonderful thing and this issue continued Dale's incredible winning streak! As much as I grumble about my life from time to time, finding these treasures in my humble mailbox proves sometimes it can be a wonderful life!

It's always a thrill when you hear Dale Martin has finished a new comic book and then to find a copy in your very own mailbox turns that thrill into joy. Dale's work is always fun and inspiring and this issue is no exception. Do yourself a favor and check out some Watusi! Believe me, you'll be glad that you did!

It Came From My Mailbox!: Samurai Slate

Postmaster Keith O'Brien recently sent me his latest minicomic featuring his pun noir detective, Samurai Slate! Collaborating with a bundle of talented cartoonists (Including one of my favorites, Dale Martin), Keith created some delightful funnies with clever wordplay. And the cover drawing is by yours truly! Thanks, Keith!
