Halloween on the Radio

Tom Cherry’s Old Time Radio Show celebrates Halloween this Saturday by presenting the classic radio chiller, "The Hitchhiker"! Plus more thrills are offered with the premiere of Mister Halloween, an original series of scary tales! The talented cast includes Sean Orlosky, Gabe Carpenter, Sean Heline, Bob Green, Katy Wolfe, Angela Gick, Jeff Shull, Jeff Rapkin, and soundman and soundwoman, Jerry and Judy Cole!
An unlucky audience member will also get a chance to play It Pays to be Creepy and the musical talents of Gabe Carpenter and Bob Green and the Bobettes will be featured!  Audience members are encouraged to dress in costume and to participate in a prize winning costume contest as well!
That’s October 22nd at 3:00 pm at the Farmland Community Center (100 N. Main St, Farmland, Indiana)! Tickets are just a dollar! Popcorn and refreshments will be available for purchase. For more information, call 765-468-7631. Radio fun for everyone!

Chiller Thriller Theatre 2: Electric Bugaboo

Chiller Thriller Theatre returns to the Farmland Community Center this October! Just in time for Halloween, TV horror host Basil Q. Mylk-Bone will present three spine-tingling tales of terror in Chiller Thriller Theatre 2: Electric Bugaboo! Funny bones will be tickled and traumatized by an evening full of ghosts, ghouls and ghastly creatures of the night!

Chiller Thriller Theatre 2: Electric Bugaboo features the work of local playwrights Clifford Lowe and Tom Cherry and stars Hannah Bailey, Wendy Carpenter, Bob Green, Thomas Nelson III, Jeff Rapkin, Jeff Shull, Joe Skeen, Rita Wessel, Katy Wolfe and Sean Orlosky as Basil Q. Mylk-Bone.

Historic Farmland USA is proud to present Chiller Thriller Theatre 2: Electric Bugaboo at the Farmland Community Center (100 N. Main St, Farmland, Indiana) on October 21st, 28th, and 29th. The performances include dinner and dessert. The dinner portion of the evening begins at 6:30 pm with the show following at 7:00 pm. Tickets for the dinner and the show are $20.00 (Seniors: $18.00). Tickets for just the show are $10.00.

Adieu! Adieu!

Last Friday night we bid adieu to Waiting for Godot. Thank you to all the kind folks who visited with us wayfarers in the bog and those champion people who gave up their time to volunteer with the production. I want to thank Taylor Watkins and Thomas Nelson III for all of their outstanding work, Wendy Carpenter for her mad makeup skills and to my brilliant cast mates (Barry McMullen, Bob Green, Sean Orlosky and Cody Lee) for making life in the wasteland such a rich and rewarding experience. Thank you to our prolific director Lysa Franklin for guiding us on our journey through the imagination of Beckett. I consider myself blessed to have done two shows with Lysa as my director this year and I hope there many more opportunities in the future!

And finally thank you Lysa and Barry for Think, Dog! Productions! It’s nice to know there is a place in Muncie, Indiana for challenging and experimental work that allows for risk and stretches the boundaries of theatre. May the Dog forever bark loud and mightily!
